Johannes Müller, born in Norway in 1975, is a Munich based freelance photographer. Since 2011, he has been focusing on conflict and war. On his own or as an embedded journalist, he has covered active conflicts such as Afghanistan, Kurdistan, Iraq and Mali.

His work focuses on human resilience and connection beyond conflict. In photo exhibitions and lectures, he tells the stories behind his photos, independently from the actual mainstream media interest.
